A 31 de Outubro, na fantasmagórica noite Halloween, a Companhia PIA voltou a despertar o EntreMundos para mais uma viagem, desta vez pela vila de Ferreira do Alentejo, partindo desde do Museu ao coração do Largo da Misericórdia.  

Profundamente agradecidos ao Município de Ferreira do Alentejo, à atenciosa equipa do Museu Municipal e a todo o imenso público que nos acompanhou nesta viagem por EntreMundos.  

Gratos Ferreira do Alentejo, foi muito bonita esta celebração!

On the 31st of October, on the ghostly night of Halloween, Companhia PIA once again awakened InbetweenWorlds for another journey, this time through the town of Ferreira do Alentejo, travelling from the Museum to the heart of Largo da Misericórdia.  

We are deeply grateful to the Municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo, to the attentive team of the Municipal Museum, and to all the wonderful audience who joined us on this journey through EntreMundos.

OS LUGARES TÊM ALMA Workshop de Abordagens à Criação nas Artes de Rua / Workshop of Approaches to Creation in the Street Arts / Festival FIG, Pinhal Novo (PT)

No âmbito e na continuidade do FIG - Festival Internacional de Gigantes, em contexto de formação aberto à comunidade associativa artística local,, a convite do Município de Palmela, foi este ano dirigido pela Companhia PIA e seus criadores Pedro Leal e Helena Oliveira, durante o mês de Outubro, OS LUGARES TÊM ALMA um Workshop de Abordagens à Criação nas Artes de Rua.  

A partir do Lugar ou ideia de Lugar, a formação convidou, a um espaço de partilha, exploração e desenvolvimento de ferramentas artísticas que auxiliem no processo criativo para o espaço público. Tendo o Lugar como veículo à inspiração, portador de uma identidade, própria de características únicas e singulares, objetivou-se com esta oficina desenvolver formas de o interpretar, criando pontos de vista (viewpoints) de análise e reflexão, recorrendo às Formas Animadas pelo seu poder de anonimato e análise do indivíduo, proporcionando espaço para a criação do imaginário de uma história/mensagem, a partir das relações com o corpo artístico e elementos do espaço que habitam.  

A formação teve lugar no Monte Francisquinho e zonas urbanas em Pinhal Novo, entre 7 e 16 de Outubro passados, e revelou-se uma autêntica viagem por mundos imaginários, agradecendo-se a todos os participantes que nesta aventura embarcaram e tudo deram, encontrando nos diferentes lugares partilhados e explorados, o seu veículo à inspiração.  

Formação integrada no projeto CARICATURE com APOIO À CRIAÇÃO | República Portuguesa – Cultura, Juventude e Desporto / Direção‐Geral das Artes

Within the scope and continuity of FIG – International Festival of Giants, and as part of a training program open to the local artistic associative community, this year, at the invitation of the Municipality of Palmela, the workshop THE PLACES HAVE A SOUL – Approaches to Creation in Street Arts was directed by Companhia PIA and its creators Pedro Leal and Helena Oliveira throughout the month of October. 

Starting from the Place, or the idea of Place, the training proposed a space for sharing, exploration, and development of artistic tools to support the creative process in the public space. Taking the Place as a vehicle for inspiration—bearing an identity with its own unique and singular characteristics—the aim of this workshop was to develop ways of interpreting it, creating viewpoints for analysis and reflection. Animated Forms were used for their power of anonymity and capacity to observe the individual, offering space to build the imaginary of a story/message, arising from the relationships between the artistic body and the elements of the space it inhabits. 

The training took place at Monte Francisquinho and in urban areas of Pinhal Novo, between October 7 and 16, and proved to be a true journey through imaginary worlds, thanking to all the participants who embarked on this adventure and gave their all, finding in the various shared and explored places their own vehicle for inspiration. 

This workshop it's integrated into the CARICATURE project with CREATION SUPPORT | Portuguese Republic – Culture, Youth and Sports / Directorate-General for the Arts.

It is impossible not to love MAR de Sines, where every return welcomes us with the strength of an embrace and a smile that feels like home. 

Beyond our gratitude, we wish to congratulate Teatro do Mar, true “Peoples of the SEA, People of the STREET,” an untiring and resilient team that brings this Festival to life — a space of encounter, sharing, and celebration. 

The passage of CARICATURE through Sines was, without a doubt, memorable, and once again we carry with us a heart overflowing with the affection and warmth of all those who accompanied us in this presentation.
