Passados 10 anos, foi sem dúvida um atribulado mas muito feliz regresso a Gdańsk e ao incrível FETA, que fez valer a pena todas as provas superadas, por podermos apresentar as criações EntreMundos e O2 [Oxigénio] para milhares de espectadores, que nos acompanharam ao longo de dois dias intensos de programação, nos dias 12 e 13 de Julho.
Somos gratos pela a equipa que temos, na sua dedicação, entre-ajuda e superação das adversidades que surgiram, assim como à Plama GAKl a organização deste tremendo festival, pela sua incansável procura de nos trazer de volta ao FETA.
Fica igualmente o agradecimento à nossa imparável e dedicada guia Róża, e a TODO o público presente pela sua imensa receptividade às criações desta companhia.
Estas são algumas das excepcionais memórias fotográficas que a PIA recebeu das apresentações de O2 [Oxigénio].

"O festival não faltou com atuações de temas sérios relacionados com a crise climática e as suas potenciais consequências negativas para as pessoas. Vale a pena mencionar duas atuações - 'O2 [Oxigénio]' pela PIA e 'Titan/The Tower' apresentada pela Serious Clown Company. A primeira abordou o problema do acesso limitado ao oxigénio e as relações humanas num mundo onde bens básicos são um luxo. Os artistas usaram um cenário que mostrava um dispositivo de distribuição de oxigénio para apresentar a sua visão, e eles próprios atuaram em andas e com máscaras enormes. O espetáculo foi muito evocativo, e a combinação de movimento, luz e som criou uma visão catastrófica do futuro humano. No final, no entanto, surgiu um raio de esperança quando as personagens pararam de lutar entre si por oxigénio e se uniram para resolver o problema juntas."
"As duas atuações seguintes que provavelmente mais comoveram o público foram “EntreMundos” do grupo PIA anteriormente mencionado e “Don Quixote” do HoM Theater. A primeira levou o público a um mundo entre o acordar e o sonhar, no qual o governante do tempo reinava supremo, e as personagens não tinham escolha senão submeter-se às suas decisões sobre a vida e a morte. Um momento particularmente espetacular foi quando os atores colocaram as marionetas que os transformaram em enormes esqueletos, elevavando-se sobre o público e vagueando pelo Parque Reagan."

After 10 years, it was undoubtedly a tumultuous but very happy return to Gdańsk and to the incredible FETA, which made all the challenges worthwhile, as we could present the creations InbetweenWorlds and O2 [Oxygen] to thousands of spectators who accompanied us throughout two intense days of programming, on July 12th and 13th.
We are grateful for our team, for their dedication, mutual support, and overcoming the adversities that arose, as well as to Plama GAK, the organization of this tremendous festival, for their tireless efforts to bring PIA back to FETA.
We also extend our thanks to our unstoppable and dedicated pilot Róża, and to ALL the audience present for their immense receptiveness to the creations of this company.

"The festival did not lack performances with serious themes related to the climate crisis and its potential negative consequences for people. It is worth mentioning two performances - 'O2 [Oxygen]' by PIA and 'Titan/The Tower' performed by Serious Clown Company. The first one addressed the problem of limited access to oxygen and human relationships in a world where basic goods are luxury. The artists used a set design showing an oxygen distribution device to present their vision, and they themselves performed on stilts and in huge masks. The show was very evocative, and the combination of movement, light and sound created a catastrophic vision of the human future. At the end, however, there was a ray of hope when the characters stopped fighting each other for oxygen and united to solve the problem together."
"The next two performances that probably moved the audience the most were “InbetweenWorlds” by the aforementioned PIA group and “Don Quixote” by the HoM Theater. The first one took the audience to a world between waking and dreaming, in which the ruler of time reigned supreme, and the characters had no choice but to submit to his decisions about life and death. A particularly spectacular moment was when the actors put on puppets turning them into huge skeletons towering over the audience and thus wandered around Reagan Park."
