O passado dia 20 de Junho de 2026 marcou o regresso do CIÊNCIA NA RUA Festival Internacional de Ciência e Arte um evento singular, organizado pelo Centro Ciência Viva de Estremoz e com Direção Artística da PIA Projectos de Intervenção Artística, que tem como propósito promover o encontro entre a ciência e as artes, transformando anualmente a cidade de Estremoz num grande palco de experimentação, criação e partilha.
Nesta edição a SUSTENTABILIDADE surgiu como ponto de partida para pensar as relações entre território, recursos, património, comunidade e futuro, convidando à reflexão sobre os desafios do nosso tempo através de diferentes linguagens artísticas e científicas. Um percurso aberto a públicos diversos - das crianças às famílias, dos curiosos aos especialistas - onde o conhecimento se torna experiência sensível e onde a cidade se transforma num lugar de encontro entre saberes.

June 20, 2026 marked the return of the CIÊNCIA NA RUA International Science and Art Festival, a unique event organized by the Centro Ciência Viva de Estremoz, with Artistic Direction by PIA Projectos de Intervenção Artística. The festival aims to foster a dialogue between science and the arts, transforming the city of Estremoz each year into a vast stage for experimentation, creation, and sharing.
In this edition, SUSTAINABILITY emerged as the starting point for reflecting on the relationships between territory, resources, heritage, community, and the future, inviting audiences to consider the challenges of our time through different artistic and scientific languages. It was an open journey for diverse audiences — from children and families to the curious and the specialists — where knowledge becomes a sensory experience and the city is transformed into a meeting place for different forms of knowledge.
